In February 2012, The Hikmah Club’s keynote speaker will be James Brokenshire, Conservative Member of Parliament for Old Bexley and Sidcup and Minister for Security at the Home Office that grants him a seat on the National Security Council. Before entering Parliament James was a partner at a large international law firm where he advised a range of companies, businesses and financial institutions.
In March 2012, The Hikmah Club’s keynote speaker will be Stephen Pollard, Editor of the Jewish Chronicle, the world’s oldest continuously published Jewish newspaper in the world (1841). Stephen is also an author, blogger and journalist who has written for publications as diverse as the Spectator, the Times and the Daily Mail.
In May 2012, The Hikmah Club’s keynote speaker will be US Congressman Keith Ellison. Congressman Ellison is a member of the Financial Services Committee and the House Democratic Steering & Policy Committee and a former member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. He is also the first Muslim US Congressman.
