Unitas CEO speaks at United Nations conference in Rio de Janeiro

Unitas CEO spoke at the 3rd forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

President Lula da Silva of Brazil, President Evo Morales of Bolivia, Prime Minister Erdogan of Turkey, President Kirchner of Argentina,  UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and President Sampaio, High Representative for the UN Alliance of Civilizations were amongst the high profile speakers at the conference.

Unitas CEO spoke on the subject of ’shaping perceptions, challenging stereo types - the role of the media today’.  The session was chaired by Chairman and CEO of EuroNews Mr Philipe Cayla and other panelists included prominent journalists from Singapore, Egypt and The USA along with academics from the UK, Qatar and Brazil.

The Rio Forum bought together over 2,000 participants, including political and corporate leaders, civil society activists, youth groups, faith communities, research centers, foundations and journalists.
